Glass wool is a type of mineral wool made specifically of silica. It has the same applications and properties with most mineral wools but at a lower price point.

Extruded polystyrene (XPS/EPS ) Insulation is a rigid foam board that provides excellent thermal protection. Its water-resistant properties make XPS ideal for above-the slab- insulation.
